The Discipleship Master Plan

The Discipleship Master Plan was presented to Steve Haley, president of the Kentucky-Tennessee Conference during the Conference Executive Committee on December 10, 2013.  Melvin Santos, pastor of the Nashville First Church, authored the textbook which is a step by step guide and strategy for creating disciple-making pastors and churches.

Part of the vision established by the Kentucky-Tennessee Evangelism Advisory team is to be able to train 60-70% of the pastors and churches in our conference within the next 2-3 years in discipleship.  “Jesus’ Great Commission is to go and make disciples of all nations…”  Santos states, “We need to focus on making more disciples and disciplers for Jesus than just members!”

Pastor Santos is also the NAD ministerial field liaison for Discipleship and Asian Pacific pastors.  He currently trains pastors on discipleship in several conferences.  Pastor Santos recently returned from the Alaska Conference where he presented the Discipleship Training.  Just before year-end, he presented the training at the Carolina Conference.
