Cost: $40 per person (Due at onsite check)
Equipment: You will need a device that connects to the internet to take the test and older clothes for the disaster simulation that you don’t mind getting torn or stained.

FEMA’s Basic CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) disaster training is a 20 hour course that trains a person for disaster preparedness, planning, survival skills, and mutual aid during the initial period of coping with the aftermath of a disaster or community crisis when quality of survival and one’s ability to help others safely and effectively is critical. If you want to be prepared for disasters and learn how to help others who have been through one this training is for you.

Work with community disaster response plans.
Work with first responders and their protocols.
Do the most good for the most people.
Conduct an appropriate response.

Classroom training, hands on practice, moulage and simulations.

You will be recognized by the disaster response community as a certified FEMA CERT volunteer that should allow you access into a disaster site to provide aid when you are dressed in the appropriate CERT Volunteer attire and can show your certificate if requested.

2:30-3:30 Review for test
3:30 till done CERT Test (Device to connect with wifi) When you have passed the exam you will receive your certificate and can leave.
