Eunice Jahn
Eunice and her husband David Jahn come to us from and now serve the Martin Memorial, Columbia, and Hohhenwald, Tennessee churches.
Eunice was born in Gylette, Wyoming and attended Campion Academy, Union Collage, and Andrews University where she earned a degree in Education. Presently she is homeschooling her children and working on a master’s in special education.
She says: "I was baptized when I was twelve. My family had been in and out of the church when I was in elementary school. My mom was trying to figure out what she believed and when she did we started going back to church. The local pastor did studies with my family, and we got baptized soon after."
Eunice also shares how she met her husband: " We both did literature evangelism in the Rocky Mountain Conference in the summer. We ended up going to Union College and got to know each other better through different clubs and spending time together and realized we had similar interests and goals." They were married in August 2004 and now have two children, Selah 9, and Elijah 11.
Eunice has a special interest in reading, exercise, health, gardening, and singing. As a family they enjoy hiking, traveling, spending time with family and friends.
A favorite Bible verse for Eunice is:
James 4:8 (NIV) "Come near to God and He will come near to you..."
