All You Need to Know

Why Youth Summit?

Youth Summit offers your children a unique opportunity for personal growth and community service. Through this door-to-door ministry, they share Christian literature on vital topics like personal development, health, and family values while raising funds for tuition and scholarships. By participating, they develop communication, empathy, and leadership skills while contributing positively to society. Encourage your kids to join this journey of service and self-discovery—it's a chance for them to make a real difference while enriching their own lives.

What does the program entail?

What the Program Entails:

Our Summer Program Offers 10 weeks of intentional evangelism training and experience in literature ministry.  Students will learn:

  • How to share their faith

  • How to connect with people from diverse backgrounds

  • How to be comfortable speaking to strangers about God

  • How to have a personal walk with God

How to study the Bible and have personal devotions

They will also learn a variety of useful life skills. Some of these skills include:

  • Punctuality

  • Organization

  • Financial management

  • Domestic skills (cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc.)

Basic Info

  • It cost nothing for students to both apply and join any of our canvassing programs.

They will receive 50% of the money they earn canvassing either sent to their school directly or to their home as a check (for summer programs they must complete at least 8 weeks of canvassing to get their full 50%). The other 50% covers the cost of the materials they use for canvassing (books, bags, wallets, receipts, etc.) as well as gas, provided program food, car repairs and leadership pay. A small program fee is subtracted from the students overall check for the 10-week Summer program. If students do not have their own health insurance an additional $200 is subtracted from their overall pay to cover their basic health insurance during the summer.

  • Though none of our programs cost anything upfront, we encourage parents to send enough money with their children for the first two weeks of lunches and laundry mat expenses as well as money for activities on Friday. After the first two weeks the students will be making enough money that they should be able to cover their own expenses from the allowance they will be able to take from their canvassing money. The allowance each week will be 5% of their overall weekly earnings. (Taking an allowance will reduce their final pay to 45% because they have already used 5% during the program). Students do not have to take their allowance, but this means that parents will need to send enough money for them to cover their expenses for the entire summer (this money does not need to be sent to the students all at once. It can be sent weekly).
